BAM Desserts absolutely impressed us! We had the chance to try two of their Cake in a Cup desserts at a corporate event in Rutgers University event, and they were delicious. The entire concept is so well done, from the presentation and convenient grab-and-go packaging to the flavor itself. It feels creative, polished, and memorable, and most importantly, the desserts taste as good as they look. We highly recommend BAM Desserts and are already looking forward to trying more!

I finally tried BAM Desserts and was expecting a “BAM!” moment. Unfortunately, the only surprise was how quickly my expectations disappeared. The cupcakes looked great, but after the first bite, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’ve had better cupcakes from my local grocery store bakery section. And those don’t come with boutique bakery prices. The frosting was the biggest disappointment. Instead of rich, buttery flavor, it had that overly sweet, artificial taste that lingers long after the cupcake is gone. It tasted more like a chemistry project than a dessert. The cake itself didn’t do much to save the experience. The texture was on the dry side, leaving the moisture level somewhere between “slightly stale” and “please pass me a gallon of milk.” For a bakery that has built a reputation around cupcakes, I expected something memorable. Maybe BAM stands for “Barely Above Market” because that’s honestly where I’d rank these cupcakes. They look Instagram-worthy, but when it comes to flavor, I’ve had supermarket cupcakes that delivered a bigger wow factor.

This was my first experience with BAM Dessert, and I couldn’t be more appreciative of their incredible service. I ordered a three-tier cake for my daughter’s Sweet 16, and they truly exceeded my expectations. They beautifully matched the party’s theme and colors, and the cake itself was absolutely delicious.
